The problem is in the transfer switch not the generator.
About two months ago the power went out but the unit did not function properly.
But it happened again yesterday and I could not get in contact with anyone .this morning contact was made but all the techs were already gone for the day on various jobs.
Professional crew with specific attention to detail. Very happy with their installation.
The problem will be fixed soon and my generator is fine.

Three more men came and they all agreed with the first tech but were wondering how moisture was getting into my transfer box.

I was walked through by a tech man as to how to start it.
The big guy ,Mike,determined that the moisture was entering my main electric neutral cable and following it down into the box and dripping onto the part that was failing because of the moisture.
The unit was fixed the very next day.
They did try to call me back on Tuesday but dialed the wrong number and...that is a story for another day.
